We have been using the complete Genie System for over 10 years now. It has been tremendously reliable and we have never had any software problems significant enough to cripple our office or prevent us from serving our patients. The Genie support staff have been excellent in solving the minor problems that have occurred, usually within a very short time frame. System updates have been frequent as they tried to accommodate the many, varied offices' routines.

Over the years Genie has integrated a number of instruments, (auto-refractor/keratometers, lensometers, etc.) into our system, most recently, digital retinal photography. As this was a Windows program, it required a significant upgrade, managed effortlessly, (from our viewpoint), by the Genie team.

We have investigated other Optometric software packages since purchasing the Genie system, but we found none could compare in adaptability to individual office needs or software support.
